Business选择了世界上23个最好的Web2.0站点,制作了一张详细的分布图(图1、图2)。这里有这23个站点详细的介绍。
中国有幸有3家公司入围Web2.0世界版图。分别是:
Bokee
There are more than 600 blog-publishing sites in China but Bokee, formerly Blog-China, is at the head of the pack with more than 2 million visitors. Founder Fang Xingdong believes the Chinese consumer market to be so lucrative that he can break even and make it to 10 million users by the end of the year.
Douban
Douban gives Chinese consumers the ability to write and peruse one another’s music and book reviews. The site has 200,000 users, and its founder, Bo Yang, has become a celebrity in China. He launched an English version in beta last year and partnered with Amazon.com to sell the books and CDs.
Toodou
In Chinese, “toodou” means “potato”as in couch potato. It offers three-second video ads that its network of video podcasters can insert in their videos. Resulting revenue is split with Toodou. Founder Gary Wang started the site with $125,000 of his own money. Now it’s one of the leading podcasting sites in China, with 125,000 users and $8.5 million in second-round financing.
3个公司,2个在北京,1个在上海。Bokee(博客网)以2.0为幌子做1.0媒体,现在是半死不活;Douban(豆瓣)算的上是比较纯粹的2.0,不过规模仍然太小,能发展多大不好说;Toodou(土豆)面临的风险不仅仅在于找不到有效的收费模式,更大的风险来源于政府政策,未来前景不明朗。
这就是老外人眼里中国最好的3个Web2.0站点,没有一家SNS上榜。让我选的话,Douban排第三,前两名空缺。Bokee排在前5名之外。
